Donkey Kong is the Barrel-Throwing ape of the
Kongo Jungle.DK was first seen in the game
appropriatly called "Donkey Kong",where he
captured Mario's,or Jumpman's as he was
called,girlfriend Pauline.Since then DK has
joined the good side and has been Mario's friend
ever since.
SIDE NOTE:The DK of today was actually DKjr. in
the early Donkey Kong days.The old DK is
actually Cranky Kong today.
